Czech Language Exams Overview

The CCE (Certifikovaná zkouška z češtiny pro cizince) is the official Czech language certificate exam, administered by Charles University ÚJOP.

Reading (A2):

Writing (A2):

Speaking (B1):

Mluvte o své práci. Kde pracujete? Co děláte? (Talk about your work. Where do you work? What do you do?)

Tips for Exam Day

  1. V is your friend - When unsure, V is correct ~80% of the time
  2. Listen for prepositions - They signal which case to use
  3. Check your endings - Quick mental check: gender → pattern → ending
  4. Don't panic - A small case error won't fail you if communication is clear
  5. Use what you know - Better to use simple correct forms than complex wrong ones
